On site
Testing board by board in occupied premises
Testing means switching circuits off, so we agree the order with your site contact before we start. We work through one board at a time, keep each interruption short and tell occupants what will go off and when. We need access to every board, including those inside tenant units and plant rooms.
- Testing order agreed with your site contact
- Tenants warned before their circuits go off
- Servers and alarms flagged before testing
- Access to every board, plant room and outbuilding
- Keys held by tenants or agents arranged ahead

Facilities FAQs
COC questions from owners and managing agents
Does the inspection price include repairs?
No. The COC inspection does not include repairs. If we find faults, we photograph them, quote the remedial work and wait for your decision.
Do we pay again for the certificate after the repairs?
No. When repairs are complete, the certificate is issued at no additional charge.
How do we know the faults are real?
We take complete photos of all the faults and load them on our live electronic job card system for you to view. You can show the owner or the agent exactly what we found.
Can a managing agent arrange it for the owner?
Yes. Send us the COJ account, any existing certificate and test report, the site contact and the transfer or handover date, and we will book around that date.
Does the COC cover tenant equipment?
No. It covers the fixed electrical installation within its stated scope, not the machines and appliances plugged into it.
