Pool repairs around residents and swimming times
Most of the work happens in the plant room, but residents still want to know why the pool is closed. Tell us who holds the keys and when the pool can be out of use, and we keep the closure as short as we can. Before we leave, the timer is set the way your caretaker wants it.
- Plant-room keys arranged with the caretaker
- Pool closure time agreed in advance
- Timer settings confirmed before we leave
- Wet electrical equipment isolated first
- Mechanical faults reported, not guessed at

Facilities FAQs
Pool questions from body corporates and caretakers
Is every pump problem electrical?
No. If the motor runs but the water doesn't circulate, the problem is probably mechanical or hydraulic, which is a job for a pool specialist. We check the electrical side and tell you what we find.
Can the caretaker deal with you directly?
Yes. Once the trustees or managing agent have approved the work, we arrange access and report back through the caretaker.
Do you maintain the pool itself?
No. We don't do chemicals, cleaning or general pool maintenance. We repair the electrical equipment that runs the pool.
Can you set the timer for summer and winter?
Yes. Tell us the filtering hours your caretaker or pool specialist wants, and we set the timer before we leave.
Can you check the pump room wiring while you are there?
Yes. If we see damaged cables, a wet isolator or an unsafe connection, we point it out and quote the repair.
