Backup water storage
Water on site when the municipal supply stops
Water outages close bathrooms and kitchens, and sometimes the whole business. As JoJo approved installers, we install tanks, pumps and backup water systems for offices, shops, estates and managed properties, sized to what the site needs to keep running.

Water systems we install
-
Municipal backup
Tanks that fill from the mains and supply the building when the municipal water fails.

Pumps and pressure systems so stored water reaches upper floors and every fitting that needs it.
-
Rainwater harvesting
Collection from roofs for toilets, irrigation and washing down.

On site
Installing tanks at a working site
A tank install needs a level base, access for delivery and a connection into the building's supply. We plan the position with you, schedule the tie-in to keep the water interruption short, and keep delivery and work areas clear for staff and the public. A full tank is heavy, so we check that the base or stand can take the weight before we install.
- Tank position and base agreed
- Delivery route for the tanks planned
- Water tie-in shutdown kept short
- Body corporate or landlord approval in place
- Pump switching tested before handover

Facilities FAQs
Backup water questions from estates and building owners
Is tank water safe to drink?
Not automatically. A tank stores water; whether it is drinkable depends on the source, the condition of the system and the treatment. Tell us how you will use the water and we plan filtration to suit.
What size tank do we need?
It depends on how many people use the site, which fittings must keep working and how long outages usually last. We work that out with you before we quote.
Do we need approval before a tank goes in?
On a shared or sectional title property, usually yes, from the body corporate or the landlord. Get it before installation day; we can give them the tank size and position they will ask about.
Can you refill our tanks during an outage?
Yes. We deliver potable water for tank refills. See bulk water deliveries.
