Solar & inverters

Keep trading through load-shedding on inverter power

Tills, servers, security and refrigeration can't wait for the grid to come back. We plan, install and maintain inverter, battery and solar systems for offices, shops, estates and managed properties, sized to the load that must stay on. Our own electricians do the electrical connection.

Scope

Backup power systems we plan and install

  • Critical load review

Tills, servers, access control, lighting, refrigeration or pumps listed with you before anything is sized.

  • Inverters and batteries

Systems that carry your critical circuits through outages, charging from the grid in between.

  • Solar panels

Roof-mounted panels that recharge the batteries and reduce daytime grid use.

  • Board changes

Critical circuits separated at the DB board so the system powers what matters.

  • Faults on existing systems

Inverter, wiring and battery problems troubleshot, with repair, battery replacement or expansion advised.

  • Working with a generator

Inverters for short outages and a generator for long ones, set up to work together.

On site

Installing around opening hours and roof access

Most installation work happens in the plant room and on the roof, so trading carries on. The changeover at the board needs a short planned shutdown, which we schedule with you in advance. We follow your site induction and roof-access rules throughout. Batteries and inverters need a cool, ventilated space, so we agree where they go well before installation day.

  • Roof access and safety rules confirmed
  • Changeover shutdown booked ahead
  • Plant room or inverter space agreed
  • Critical circuits tested on battery before handover
  • Site contact walked through the system

Facilities FAQs

Solar and inverter questions from business owners

Can you work on a system another company installed?

Yes. We troubleshoot inverter, wiring and battery faults on existing systems and explain the options before doing any work.

Will installation disrupt trading?

Only briefly. The changeover at the board needs a short planned shutdown; everything else happens around you. We book that shutdown with you, outside peak hours if needed.

Do we need solar panels, or just batteries?

Batteries charged from the grid carry you through outages. Panels add daytime power and recharge the batteries from the sun, which lowers your grid use. We recommend what suits the site.

Should we keep our generator?

Often, yes. An inverter handles short outages and the generator covers long ones. We install and maintain both.
